Location
Located on the Isola di San Clemente, the Clemente Palace sits in extensive grounds and is ten minutes from Venice Island by the hotel's complimentary shuttle launch. The island has its own small golf course, and church.

Amazing location (although transfer is a little hard due to distance). Service and presentation is great, food is great, scnario is great. Highly recommended for a romantic escape.

This is indeed a palace sitting on its own island 15 mins from venice on their free shuttle launch.It is 5 star luxury service was excellent .A joy to go into venice in the morning and return in the afternoon and relax at the pool.The best of both worlds.As you would expect the food and drink prices were in line with the surroundings.20 euros for a pizza at pool bar,9 euros for a bottle of beer,7 euros for a coke.THe hotel is worth it especiaaly the views across the water to venice from outside the american bar.Only critiscism was that we had a meal in the restaurant next door it cost 250 euros and sadly the food was not very good would definately advise not to have an evening meal there are many places in venice

Excellent peaceful hotel, superb staff, excellent cuisine but like all hotels in Venice expensive.

Great place to stay in Venice if you like it quiet and only 12 minutes from th hustle of St Marks Square. Also has great gardens to wander around. Will stay there again on return to Venice.
