An excellent Hotel which belies its tired exterior. Its location, Food quality,friendliness and service of the Staff make it a really enjoyable and memorable stay.

This is an older coaching hotel with a lot of character. Rooms are very reasonably priced with a substantial breakfast choice. The only negative was a stained bedspread and the undercover of the bed ripped. The room was clean, the lined, towels and bathroom fresh and clean. Presumably hotels do not clean their bedspreads daily but in the absence of doing this they are breaching health and safety rules.

Ideal for business or a short visit to Perth, located right in the centre, close to shops, the river and attractive urban walks. No parking of its own, unfortunately, though public parking is fairly close. Friendy and helpful young staff, quality of food very good.

If you are looking for a cheap nights accomodation with an excellent cooked breakfast, this is the place for you. The room we had was very comfortable, but the view to the side of the hotel was not very appealing. The floors getting to the room were very sqeaky, as were the floors directly above us, but really that is only a minor quibble. All the staff we met were very friendly. and the cooked breakfast was as good as you will get. We parked overnight on the main street just outside, but we had to move by 8am, or pay and display. As we had an early start this wasn't a problem. There is a multi-storey just around the corner. We paid £55 for a twin room, whereas the Holiday Inn Express were wanting £80, with a continental breakfast. Would I want to stay for a week- no, but for a quick cheap night away, absolutely perfect.
