Salamanca Inn All Suite Hotel is positioned on Gladstone Street in Hobart, close to Sullivans Cove and Battery Point and six kilometres to Derwent Park Junction Railway Station. Holidaymakers retreat to Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens for leisure.

We spent 3 nights here and could complain about nothing. All staff were pleasent and helpful, the location is great, the room large and well appointed (and double glazed), comfortable bed and good shower. Our room service meal was more than expected and the steak in the dinning room was very good, with great sauce and value for money.

Arrived early in the morning and to our surprise our suite was ready for check-in. First good impression was the modern kitchen with induction stove, dishwasher, modern catalog-look cabinets. and complete with the cutleries, boiler, microwave, various cooking stuff, and even a rice cooker. Carpet still looked like just recently installed. Bathroom was very modern and got catalog-look too. Very clean and tidy. Service was great including the reception staff that a couple of times doubled as housekeeping staff. No gym and for some reason the water temperature of the pool was a bit too low for swimming, but the spa was quite pleasant. Entertainment-wise, local channels were available on TV as well as recent Hollywood movies that played on repeats at various times during the day and night. Didn't get the chance to taste the breakfast or lunch or dinner at the restaurant.

This was a great place to stay. No areas of complaint. So convenient, the facilities were good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay at Salamanca Inn next time we are in Hobart.

Perfect location for our weekend stay in Hobart and proximity to the Salamanca Markets. Great suite with king bed, full kitchen including oven, stove top and dishwasher - we'll be back for a longer stay! The external windows were double glazed which assisted with keeping noise out and room temperature constant. Great and helpful staff too.

The room was very comfortable, and a big advantage was being able to boost the heat. TV was better quality than most other hotels I've been in especially in this price range,and the free in room movies was a good touch. There was a computer in the room as well which I didn't use, but handy to have. The room was spotlessly clean and made up every day with replacement products when required. The products are the ubiquitous "Spirit" range, which I don't think are great but they do the job. The room was quiet even though close to the lift. Really close to Salamanca place and all the amenities there. The roof top pool was clean as was the spa, although the spa could have been warmer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is average but the one meal I had in the restaurant was good. All in all a good place to stay in Hobart, in a convenient location.
