Saint Kitts & Nevis Climate

The tropical climate of Saint Kitts & Nevis is warm with sea breezes from the Caribbean. There is very little seasonal variation due to the islands’ proximity to the Equator. Precipitation is most common during summer and at the end of the year.

Getting There & Around

Airplanes from San Juan, Puerto Rico, make daily flights into Basseterre, and several major airlines make a few visits from Miami per week. Saint Kitts and Nevis are also common destinations for many cruise ships. A ferry can take visitors between the two islands.

Taxis are the most common form of tourist transportation. The local government also maintains a fleet of microbuses as a public transit system. « Hide
