Ideally situated, Sailport Waterfront Suites overlooks the blue waters of Tampa Bay and is located in Rocky Point and its attractions like Lowry Park Zoo. Hyde Park is also nearby for more shopping and entertainment options. Tampa International Airport is about 3.5 kilometres away.

The most I liked about this hotel, was the the view we got from the balcony of the room. It was spectacular to see water all over and feel the ocean breeze. The room was OK. But the staff was excellent, I was at the reception many times inquiring about things the gentleman there was always, nice, corteous, and very helpful. He always had a smile.

The room I stayed in was updated. Otherwise I don't think I would have slept well. The kitchen needed a vegetable peeler.

My wife and I stayed overnight as we arrived a little late into Tampa and I decided to travel south the next day instead. These suites are ideal for an overnight stay but I would also recommend them if you wanted to stay in the Tampa Bay area a little longer with easy access to Clearwater and/or St Petes. The suites themselves were clean and tidy and they had cooking facilities, microwave, fridge freezer even a dishwasher too! All rooms have a balcony with a waterfront view although some views are better than others. Not sure i would want to sleep on the sofa bed but would be ok for the kids I guess. They have a small man-made beach for relaxing and an outside pool. Honestly couldnt fault the place and its just a 10 minute drive from Tampa Airport. For the price, definitely recommended.

Fantastic stay. The view was unsurpassable. Our balcony was right over the water. Perfect place for watching dolphins and thunder storms. Room was spacious, well equipped and the bed quite comfortable. Would stay there again!
