the staff went out of their way to help us and to make our stay enjoyable. they even booked train tickets for us for theatre and train. one thing though: standard room means no window.

I was a little worried when i saw how cheap this place was, but what a lovely surprise. The front office staff were so nice and spoke great english. This really is the best bang for buck i've gotten anywhere in the world when i have travelled. Its your normal Vietnamese layout with reception on ground floor and then about 3 rooms per floor. It is clean and even though my room didnt have an external view window, my room always smelled of fresh laundry when i returned, you know that smell when you've just washed your towels. Lovely. You can easily stay here whether you are on business, leisure or both. I will stay here again for sure. Great Hotel.

Saigon Mini Hotel 5 is a good nofrills hotel with great service staff and very clean rooms.It's in a great location with access to food and mini marts and shops which offer great stuff at reasonable prices. The same silk scarfs for example cost 3x more at Ben Than market than at the shops surrounding the hotel. The hotel staff will go out of their way to help and the young ladies at reception are knowledgeable and offer good advice on where to shop, eat and sight see. The only minus is that the breakfast they serve is only adequate for a small apetite .

You can't go wrong with this Hotel. Great location if you are a tourist. The street below is lively. There are cheaper hotels in the surrounding area that are bigger and look nice as well. But you definitely can't go wrong with this hotel if you can afford it and if you are looking for a sure shot without having to worry about having chosen a bad hotel. The staff are also very helpful and nice. You can read more about this hotel on tripadvisor.com, which is how we ended up staying at this hotel.

Superb and very clean. This hotel is also located within the tourist belt and is very near shopping areas and food shops. The service is impeccable. In other words, iI had value for money given the kind of service and facilities they offered me.
