We arrived really early in the morning at about 2:30am, but they were able to offer us a meal and help us with our bags, etc. We had a room on the 7th floor (the hotel has 14 floors) and it was very spacious and well equipped. The view in the morning from the balcony was breathtaking. The free buffet breakfast at the Panorama Hotel on the 14th floor was quite nice too and the view from there was equally breathtaking. Would recommend this hotel to all. One of the best if not the best hotels in Halong.

Great views, great breakfast. very average service but people allowed to smoke in non smoking areas which was frustrating. Hotel could do with a scrub and proper clean. Bell boys stand there and don't do a thing. Frustrating. but great location and the view is amazing

I asked for a cheap twin room and was put in a stand-alone 'homestead' style building which seems to be mainly for Korean honeymooners, etc. It was comfortable enough but not modern. The "Homestead" was quite a hike from the reception so I felt obliged to tip the guy who transported my bags. Great view from the breakfast area on the top floor of the main hotel building.
