Rooms had bugs on sink. Staff was excellent and always friendly. Beds were comfortable. Great beach area. Great food!

Great -greeting with a smile from staff ,every day and a "ola senor" special thanks to Karla and her staff . The sabor hotel was clean, on the beach, The resturant food was good service was great Special thanks to Laura and her staff (Alex,Migaul,Ricardo). The Entertainment was fun.vollyball,ping pomg,beach party,dance party,traditional feasta and not to forget the great horror show.Special thanks to Jordon and Mario and there entertainers. But if I was to leave without mentioning (scuba Dive ) Dive Palancar with Victor as your guide , the trip would not have been complete. 3 dives for less then 250 I was in aah! hevan. Resort is dated, but clean and the staff gives great service....beyond what we would normally expect. Snack bar needs some improvement (greasy hamburgers and very limited menu) but the other restaurant meals (all inclusive) were excellent.

We returned to this Resort after going there a year and a half ago for our honey moon. Up until now, my brother has enjoyed stays here when the resort was the Reef Club and my In-laws have enjoyed stays here as the Wydham. This resort is over ten years old plus probably more and it is getting to the point that the maintenence issues arent addresses. There are times that the septic smells from the sewege is terrible. The dining is so so and the desserts have tiny little bugs all around them. The spa has shut down the women's side of the steam area and now the women share the same area as the men which is a little uncomfortable. The rooms show aging with cracking in the bathroom tiles and locks not working properly. The "In Room Safe" is not so safe. The decals were pulled off the front and the screw that allows staff to get in the safe was visible. The beach is nice but swimming is ruff because of the rocky bottom. Overall, my wife and I decided that it's time to move on to a newer resort. Have fun and be safe wherever you decide to stay.

I was a bit concerned with all of the negative reviews with this property. Yes, they were doing maintenance, but a resort this size will always have something going on. It did not effect our stay. I have stayed somewhere around 10 different all-inclusives in Mexico and Sabor had the best tasting food of all...presentation could have been better. The Italian restaurant was the best of the three. Wear the proper attire or get turned away. We spent 8 days at the resort and everything was just fine. We met some real nice people who will be life long friends. We will go back again
