Sabah Hotel Sandakan Guest Reviews

5 out of 5

This hotel was very nice not the best one we stayed in whilst in Malaysia. Sandakan is not as popular with tourist yet!! The hotel certainly was worth the money.

don't just go to this splendid hotel for the orang utan visit. go to the English tea rooms and explore Sandakan. sim Sim village is a must. Get a taxi and eat out at the Ocean King chinese restaurant. Wonderful food and not pricey. our thanks to Mr Ron the chinese manager who did so much to make our visit memorable

Only stayed for 1 night during an excursion trip while travelling around Borneo. Found room very comfortable, restaurant buffet extensive for evening meal and breakfast. Would consider staying there again if in the area

Nice Hotel - needs modernisation and some tidying up in the grounds, don't go near the 'Nature Trail' which is basically an empty river bed full of rubbish.
