Rydges Gladstone Guest Reviews

3.6 out of 5

The staff were very nice and helpfull especially when we arrived and the room didnt have enough beds for us, which was quickly fixed. The rooms are aging and need re vamping but the beds were great and very comfy. The so called "harbour views" were very distant and a pair of binoculars to see past the industrial port between our window and the harbour would of been helpful. It was quiet and in the centre of the city sourounded by plenty of resturants and hotels to choose from to eat in.

Clean and comfortable. Friendly & helpful staff. However, it is in the middle of the CBD which is closed on the weekend so very little choice in places to eat within walking distance. The hotels own restaurant is pretty pricey.

Excellent/friendly service from the front reception. Room service was great. We were even upgraded to an ocean view, however it was a view of a coal port, not an actual beach. Overall, a nice hotel, centrally located.

Very friendly service in all facillities. Excellence in the restaurant with ample selections on the menu for dinners, with a broad selection of quality wines and beers, and the option of full or continental breakfasts with broad selection of foodstuffs, including fruit juices and cereals.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. When we indicated that we would again be staying with them on our return trip home, they offered us an upgraded room. Restaurant facilities and menu were exceptional, service in the dining room was first class. Everybody were extremely friendly and helpful.
