perfect location, close to the beach, town centre, bars and restaurants. staff were friendly. the shower needs a good clean - lots of mould. and it took a while to get hot water - and then once you get the hot water working, it changes into cold without any warning! but other than that, everything was ok. breakfast was basic but good.

the staff made us really welcome, food was yummy and value for money, a brilliant hotel for all ages. plus only 5 mins walk from seafront, we would definately stop there again if we go to that part of the country

Great hotel. Close to city centre and only a few hunderd meters from the beach. Highly recommended

This hotel is currently undergoing redecoration and modernisation. But in no way did this impact adversely on the stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location absolutely brilliant and my room very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast good. Would stay there again without hesitation.

A two star hotel providing clean, adequate rooms with en suite facilities. Rooms are being upgraded but this incurs extra cost. Breakfast quite good, cereals, fruit juice and choice of cooked English/ham/kippers. Very nice barman but bar seating quite basic and no lounge. No entertainment. Dinner is available but we didn't try it. Probably better during high summer - we stayed middle of September. Lots of complaints from fellow guests about £5 per day for parking in hotel car park. Redeemed by excellent location.
