We booked the hotel with RatesToGo.com for 4 persons and what we got was a room with 1 bed!! Which is just outrageous! We arrived late at night, totally exhausted in the hotel where they told us that the only option we have is to take the room with ONE king size bed! The staff wasn't really helpful and understanding, they kept saying that booking through a third-party website is never 100% reliable, but despite of the fact that Rumor Hotel and RatesToGo.com have a contractual agreement with each other they didn't want to give an extra bed for free. I would still recommend the hotel though thanks to it's cleanness, interior design, good location and cool atmosphere but will NEVER book again through RatesToGo.com!!

front desk staff was excellent as was valet. the cleaning staff wasn't so "people" friendly, but not enough to deter from the overall experience. loved the room. the decor is really fun, great atmosphere. photos are exactly like the rooms. i would totally book a room at this hotel again in the future.

I had a nice stay at the Rumor Boutique Resort, but it was not ideal. The good was that it is a very renovated hotel, with attractive rooms and public spaces. The rooms were clean with nice, new furnishings. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, there were a couple of problems. The biggest was a plumbing problem. At night the water pressure was very low and the hot water lukewarm, in the morning it was much worse, essentially no hot water at all. The front desk explained this was a problem throughout the hotel that day and was nice enough to remove the "resort fee", but no hot water = not a great experience. Also, the plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms look very nice, but their actual construction was a bit shoddy. Second slight problem is a very, very limited parking lot. Had to use the valet, which I don't find very convenient. Still, overall good value for money and it was nice to get off the strip, but just not the best place I have stayed.

Hotel is a nice boutique-style stop with comfortable rooms. The only meal we had there was breakfast which was fantastic. The location isn't too far off of the strip and is across the street from the Hard Rock Casino so its easy to get gambling in. We did have a problem when we woke up to find no hot water running in the bathroom, it didn't get fixed until several hours later. A warning to any visitors who might get offended, when flipping through the tv channels there is an ADULT channel that is not blocked for pay-per-view. Overall our stay was very good, a nice play to stay for younger adult couples.

Close enough to the strip for the action, but far enough away that you can relax and enjoy YOUR vacation, and not everyone elses. A great center courtyard with lounge areas and pool, and is pet friendly if your favorite travel companion has four legs instead of 2 (be sure to ask about Yappy Hour!)

It was a mixed bag but generally poor. The room was OK. It looks like this place used to be a Motel 6 or something that they tried to make look cool. The way the place was decorated was definitely different with black walls and carpet with a white contrast. Looked cool at first but grew old very fast when you realize that they just put lipstick on a pig. The room came with a Jacuzzi tub which was something I was looking forward to using but once I saw it, I could not get near it. The surface of the tub was chipped and stained by god-knows-what but it was not something I was going to soak my body in. The rain-style shower head was OK. The last morning of our stay, there was no hot water so it was a cold-assed shower at 5:00am before catching an early flight. Not cool. We stayed 4 nights here and each night we were awoken by noise. Once night, there was somebody that had obviously locked themselves out of their room and they pounded on the door for about 20 minutes at about 3:00am. Another night, they decided to turn on the music in the courtyard at about 5:30am which sounds like a ping pong ball in a coffee can from inside your room. Also not cool. Outside, the place smelled like a sewer if there was no wind in and around the courtyard. I have no idea why. The staff consisted of a bunch of young people that were pretty courteous and friendly although we had to track down the parking attendant several times in order to get our car. After the second day, we figured out that there were places we could self park which helped avoid the hassle. Overall, the place pretty much sucked and I would not stay there again. Having been to Las Vegas about 20 times, this place falls way down the list of places I have stayed there. Never again.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend 2011. It was only 39/night! The decor is so modern and hip. Has a club vibe to it. Loved the colors. The room was very much my taste, there is a fabulous chandelier picture that I want to take home from them. It has a young modern feel you don't get from typical hotels (or motels for the price). My only complaints are that our room was right next to the exit door and we could hear EVERYONE that walked in and out because the door would create a THUD sound which was annoying at 6-7am when the hustle and bustle of the hotel crew start their cleaning. Also, it is pet friendly, but our neighbor had a barking/crying dog at 3am on both nights! My advice: STAY AWAY from rooms near the exit doors and ask if there are any pets next door. Otherwise, FUN and Fabulous feel to this hotel!

I liked that the room was clean and and that my room had everything that the room is supposed to have. The bathroom's door didn't close and I was bunking with my brother; so one of my shoes had to go in with me everytime i had to use it. I had to use the shoe as a door stopper. The phone in the room didn't work. What i really liked was the service in the restaurant and the food was great!

This is a cute boutique hotel a short distance away from the strip. I chose it based on other reviews and because I am not a fan of big gigantic smoke filled Casino filled Vegas hotels. This place is decorated in white, purple and silver retro hip style. If you like art deco from the Jetson's era, you'll like this place. The pros: good room price. Liked the fact that wi-fi was included, but the signal was so so. The room was cute and tidy. The shower was very nice! The bed was comfy. The Yappy Hour specials were decent. The cons: our first floor room was very close to the building next door (maybe 10 yards away), which was weird because I saw construction crew walking around in the morning so I had to keep my curtains drawn. The room is very dark with the curtains drawn because it's basically dark grey interior. Can't say it's the most relaxing colors, but for retro art lovers, this would probably be ok. It took forever for help to arrive - first time because we needed help with the temperature control, and second time waiting for bell hop to carry the luggage. Be sure to double check your bill when checking out. I almost got charged 20% over what was due because they tacked on charges that were not mine. Most egregious was when we turned on the TV, it jumped right to an adult channel - no filtering, no asking whatsoever. I realize this is Vegas but come on! Thank goodness our kids weren't with us. All in all, it's a decent value small hotel

My husband and I stopped in Vegas on our way to California so we weren't necessarily needing to stay on the strip and the price of this hotel was very attractive. When we first arrived I was not impressed with the outside of the hotel but when we walked in I was shocked to see how modern clean and beautiful it was. The room was very clean and just like the website it was gorgeous! Overall I was very impressed with the environment of the hotel, the cleanliness and of course the price. They've done an incredible job decorating this hotel!

Rumor was a very trendy and clean location. The most stylish and reasonable hotel in vegas for the price. The room was quite large had a couch in it as well. The bed was really plush. Self parking is free, they also offer valet parking. Its right across the street from the hard rock if you want to gamble or looking a little night life. The strip is about 1 1/2 away a very long walk or a $5 cab ride to the planet hollywood miracle mile. Overall a great quiet place you get a lot for your money here. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Very impressed with the room, the layout, and the hip decor. The bed was very comfortable, the overall staff very helpful and the rate was reasonable. I would educate the front desk/reservationist to be a little more friendly though. She is the first person one meets upon check-in and she was a bit uptight.
