Ruapehu Mountain Motel & Lodge Ohakune Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

On the whole, it's a good place to stay although the walls are very thin so you hear everything...or maybe I was unlucky & stayed at the same time as a really noisy family. Early morning alarm, crashing crockery & shouting children is not the best way to start your day when on holiday.

Charged for forks ($1 per item), not a very nice place to stay.

The room was noisy and you could hear the neighbours cough or their conversation, or their tv!. Also the bed was sunk in the middle which accounted for an average night sleep! Toilet and showers were indoors but on the exact opposite side of the building. on the bright side the room was warm and there was plenty of covers etc. I think it would have been a great deal if the price wasn't as high.
