The hotel is ideally located close to the CBD, the arts precinct and sporting venues - just one easy tram ride to all these attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful the room comfortable sowe will use it again for a weekend in Melbourne.

Staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Didn't get the promised newspaper, but didn't really care. Room was on second floor, but windows double-glazed so street noise virtually undetectable. Tram just down the road. Would happily stay again.

The Royce was a very regal hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed the room, however the shower screen leaked water out everywhere. The only disappointing thing about our stay, was that vallet parking was not available as the carpark was already full at 8pm.

From stepping into the Royce and our first encounter with reception staff what an experience. Staff could not have been more obliging and helpful. The Royce is really one out of the box for all catergories. We will be back again and will stay here even if we have to go into the city as there are heaps of trams that go past every few minutes. Great find for my wife and I
