The Royal Station Hotel is situated next door to Central station which runs a service to London Kings Cross station. Central subway station provides a link to Newcastle International airport which is only a few kilometres distant. Excellent hotel, small but well equipped gym and good pool and spa facilities. about a 8 min walk to the bigg market for restaurants and pubs. Will definetly use this hotel again

Much nicer than previous stay ,cleaner. Arrived totally shattered Fire alarm sounded three times from 1600 inc twice in the night. No apology received for false alarms. I was very concerned that rooms hadn't any " No Smoking " signs , other than a small inconsequential card on dresser there did not appear to be any NO SMOKING standard signs anywhere. Nor were there any other language signs
