Royal On The Park Hotel Brisbane Guest Reviews (326)
The Staff at main desk (reception) were like a bunch of calfs. They just look & say nothing each time you enter or leave. No real welcome upon arrival & the worst was when checking out - Did not ask how our stay / experience was, pretty much just asked us did we use the mini bar in the room & that's it. No people / customer skills what so ever! It's a shame because the rest about this hotel was Fantastic! Eg: the cleanliness & service of the room was the best that we have ever encountered ( top class ).

We booked 3 rooms in this hotel for two families with teenage kids. The hotel has obviously been refurbished and the rooms with large and spacious with 2 Queen size beds which were very comfortable. We did not eat so couldn't comment on restaurant but had very friendly staff and nice quiet bar area. The pool was of an adequate size but the gym was not worth visiting. The position was excellent right opposite the Botenical Gardens which was great for morning walks or runs or bike hire. It was also a short walk away from the shopping centre and the water buses. All in all a great stay

Location is perfect, short walk to main shopping area, opposite Botanic gardens. Foyer suggested old but rooms were very comfortable

The location was great as its is situated right opposite the botenical gardens which also runs along the river. Great for a morning walks, runs or bike rides which can be hired in the entrance to the park. It is in close to the shops and an easy walk or water boat ride to the South Bank. The rooms were a very good size - we had a room with two queen sized beds over looking the park that comfortably could fit 2 adults and 2 children although you need to be on the upper levels of the hotel to get a view of the park itself. We did not choose to eat at the hotel as there was plenty of restaurants close by or at the South Bank. The pool was adequate and the staff friendly. The gym was very basic. All in all a very good place to stay whilst in Brisbane would be happy to reccommend it.

I know the hotel rooms need cleaning, after people leave..but at 6.45 to be woken up by a vacuum cleaner and housemaids washing cups and glasses and banging around in the bathroom...was a bit much....Im glad their are not cleaning my house...you would be lucky to have any cups after a week! and especially after New Years...five hours sleep, instead on the planned sleep in! Otherwise the location and service was great..lovely breakfast. Easy escape over to the park, if you needed to get the kids out for a run. Hopefully management read this and take some steps to keep the noise down in the wee hours of the morning.
