Fantastic views from the reception area and pool terrace overlooking Giritale Tank, remote, quiet location ideally suited for visiting local historical sites. Fascinating 70's architecture and interior furnishings maintained to a high standard, you'll either love the style or hate it, we loved it!

I enjoyed peaceful stay in Royal Lotus Polonnaruwa. It is good place to have relaxing time with beautiful Giritale Lake view.

The Hotel is in a superb location overlooking the Tank. The open air foyer is great. The rooms were modern with mosquito coils provided and it had cable TV. At night we would stand in the grounds and watch bats flying around - a great experience. The food and wine was excellent. You should definately stay here.
