Royal Hotel is perfect for those who wants to shop as well as see a lot of places both modern and historical Hotel staffs are accommodating. . Food is great around the area (Myeongdong) although quite costly. Overall, we have a fantastic time in Seoul and Royal Hotel has a big part in making this experience wonderful.

The Hotel is well-run and clean. But - the location is not good considering it is in the centre of Seoul - too far from the subway station - there are much better options for a similar price. The Spa is Men Only - in an international 4 star hotel that is just wierd - and the Spa is not inclcuded in the expensive room rate. Go elsewhere.

Although I stayed in the executive room, the room decoration is a bit old and very small. Carpet is quite dirty, thorough cleaning or replacement is definitely required. Having said that, the lcoation is superb, it is located in the heart of Myeong-dong. You may find shops and restuarants within a minute.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location for those who are shopaholic. I specially like the executive lounge, it is so relaxing equipt with internet, snacks and drinks. I just hope that the hotel staff monitor the guests who smoke in the supposed "non-smoking floors" such as the ones located in the executive floors.
