Could do with a lick of paint and general update but the room was average sized for Paris, clean and had a fridge to stash our own booze (which is a must!!). We had our own on-suite bathroom and there was lots of hot water whatever time of day we used it. Breakfast was a little crowded but lots for us to eat. There was a shortage of food if you go headed towards the end of the times given (7-11am) but we had no complaints ourselves. The view was the Arc de Triumph just a few hundred yards away. Location excellent. We walked down the Champs de Elysees each day towards the river. Very much enjoyed the stay. Bargain price too!

Used, old, not too good. If you just sleep, this is ok, but do not wait for any extra.

Small rooms but very cultural. Staff friendly, beds very clean and comfy. Lovely small hotel. Dining room was a bit too tiny. Difficult to sqeeze past chairs. Breakfast very basic but adequate. 25 minute walk to Eifell Tower. Don't get a taxi, they will rip upi off and take you around the houses!

Great location... The hotel is a little aged.... Staff is very helpful and try their best to meet all your needs. The room was a little cold. Breakfast could have been better.

Very noisy and very basic (indeed slightly run-down) hotel situated in an unbeatable location. If you need a cheap (for Paris anyway!), basic base for exploring Paris, this is perfect (bring earplugs though - the walls are like paper, the cleaning staff start very early and, if you have a room on the main road, the traffic is extremely loud!). If you want a more luxurious stay, stay away at all costs - our room had no shower curtain on the first day, the head fell off the 1970's hairdryer to my girlfriend's dismay, the French windows didn't open and close very well, the decor was very tired etc. etc. Don't get me wrong - it is not a slum, but it's not the Ritz either. Would agree that this is a two star hotel rather than its bold claim of being four star.

A small quiet hotel in an excellent location. Very easy to get to all major attractions. Only 3 Star by Australian standards, but for the location and price, would definitley return to this hotel.

My husband and I were so pleased with our stay in the hotel. the location is excellent, it's just a 5minute walk away from the metro. the hotel looks clean at all times. From our room we can see already the eiffel tower and we're so close to the arc. the staff esp the receptionist are friendly and helpful. the breakfast is great. if i'd go back again to visit paris, definitely i'll choose again this hotel, they're worth it!

Rooms a tad small and out dated . Position of Hotel excellent and this is the drawing factor. Prices for drink at Hotel high but this is Paris. Walking distance to all major sight seeing features. Staff very helpful at all times. The only down side was that the Hotel had only one iron and it was a matter oif first in best served.

This hotel has a fantastic location within easy walking distance of thr Eifel Tower, Louve Museum, Trocadero, Concorde and Champs Elysees. Walk out the front door and you are on the arc de triomphe The facilities are basic but clean although not a 4* more of a 2-3*. The staff are very friendly and informative. Would I use the hotel again? Most certainly.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. Excellent location five minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, easy transfers to the airports by Air France coach. Good restaurants nearby in Place Victor Hugo (try Convivium). Breakfast is a typical continental breakfast with little variety, and we found service in the breakfast room poor this time, but reception staff friendly and helpful. Like many Paris hotels, prices are high for what you get, but for its location it is not the most expensive.
