Royal Court Hotel Coventry Guest Reviews
This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and I will stay here again. Bearing in mind this is not a 5 star hotel, the price is incredible for what you get. It's not the smartest of hotels I admit, however it's clean. The bedroom was well proportioned and it had a whirlpool bath as well. Quite unexpected. Very good. The on-site gym is one of the best hotel gyms I have used with a wide range of equipment and free weights The pool is actually big enough to swim in !! And warm. The buffet breakfast is adequate, a reasonable selection. I would have preferred mushrooms, fresh tomatoes and black pudding and a pot of tea on the table, these were not available. Finally, the staff and the dining room staff in particular are very polite and efficient. And it seemed genuine, not somewhat forced like I've experienced elsewhere. Every staff member greeted me with a warm smile. Thank you.

Hi guys, Im afraid im writing here to advise you to avoid this hotel at all costs. A complete disaster. So bad infact that we didnt even stay in the end, spent 20 minutes in the hotel in total which included check in, discovering the health hazard of a room and leaving the hotel. This was at half eleven at night, so it really was bad enough to send us out hotel hunting at that time. Room had lots of pealing wallpaper, damp and mould on walls, mould on the bathroom floor tiles, a dirty stained couch and stray hairs on the pillow cases and not even batteries in the tv remote On informing the management that we where leaving the hotel i was not greeted by any sense of shock or surprise watsoever. Not a new situation for them by their reaction Avoid at all costs.

This hotel stands in impresive grounds with good car park security, but don't be fooled by that. It has seen better days, the whole hotel is dated and could do with some investment. That having been said I have stayed on a number of occasions and it's fine. A decent pool the bar is OK although the menu is limited and basic, there is also a resterant offering carvery, not that I have tried so I can't comment. It's a bit off the beaten track and 4 miles or so from the M6 J3 or 6 miles from the M42 J6. The rooms are OK and it is normaly good value for money

This hotel is in a very nice enviroment and could be beautiful but is now a little tired. However I would definately stay there again and recommend friends and colleagues to stay here when travelling on business.

The staff were surly and unfriendly. The place was freezing including the dining room. The room was very tatty- peeling wallpaper, very cold and a general air of neglect. looks great from the outside but the inside was awful
