Situated close to public transport, shopping and restaurants - Japanese, Chinese and even a Domes. A restaurant on site. Adequate breakfast included. Swimming pool not in a very attractive setting but a good size. Rooms clean and service, especially doorman, good. We would stay there again.

The staff at this hotel are ok but the concierge are slow and rather disinterested. There is nothing outstanding in this place but the location is very convenient. However it looks as though it is due a makeover. We have stayed in many hotels in Singapore but this one seemed ordinary.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a great location making it easy to be able to walk everywhere - Bugis St, Orchard Rd, Marina Square etc.

This hotel should really score top marks, and it is absolutely fine for a short say, but loses marks from me for the following: * wi-fi is only available in the busy lobby and is chargeable - that is inexcusable nowadays. * I could hardly hear the 5am fire alarm announcement that told us to stay in our rooms - I had to go and open the door to hear it - and my wife slept through it. It was a false alarm, but it took ~10-15 minutes before we knew that. * our room had no balcony, so once one of us was awake, we both were. * despite having no balcony, an overhang from the room above made our room very dark - lights were needed at all times - not good for the environment. * the breakfast menu was almost identical every day. On the plus side, there is an underground station almost outside the door, there was a good variety of breakfast items (even if not all to my taste), the hotel is near Raffles Bar and the staff are friendly enough. There is also a club for 20-somethings at the end of the street, if that appeals. Would I stay again? As I wrote at the start, the hotel is fine and clean, so I wouldn't worry about staying there again. There are lots of hotels in Singapore though, and quite a few niggles with this one, so I might be tempted to try a different hotel next time.

Excellent central location. In addition, MRT-station Bras Basah right in front of the hotel. Breakfast included to the price was decent. Good value for the cost, we would revisit this hotel. .

Easy and efficient check in, recently remodeled and clean rooms. Just wish it had more than on 120 volt power supply. Otherwise, very good hotel at a great price, at least for Singapore.

I arrived at the hotel at 7 am, a few hours before the official check-in time, and the hotel staff graciously let me check-in at 9 am. It wasn't diffcult to find a way to kill time until then as their were plently of places to explore around the hotel. However, although the staff was kind they were not particularly accomodating. They neither led me to my room, as is customary, or explained to me how to gain entrance to the elevators, which were security protected. But the room was 100% true to its protograph- the part which to me mattered most. So, overall it was a good experience!

I paid NZ$440 for a twin room, including buffet breakfast, for a two night stay on our way to London. Room was small but comfortable, considering we did not spend alot of time here except sleeping, although we did find the beds rather firm. Nice outlook towards Orchard road and bonus early check at 8 am at no extra cost. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. Hotel is very handy to metro just a few minutes walk down the road. A very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Room is average size with 2 smallish queen beds (larger singles?), we ended up pushing the beds together against one wall so the kids wouldn't roll off (8yo and 4yo). Friendly staff and generally good housekeeping. The electronic light switches froze late one night and we couldn't turn off the lights. Had to pull out the keycard to turn off power so we could sleep. Other than that no problems. Bathroom has a set of scales which came in handy for a baggage check prior to departure. Location is excellent - 50m from the Bras Basah MRT station, a block away from 2 large shopping malls and a large chain grocery store. 10 min walk to the Bugis markets (which also has a Singapore Tourist Centre) and generally within walking distance to the computer and A/V towers at Sim Lim and Adelphi. Taxi was fairly easy to catch out the front but most of the time we made the trek using the MRT down to Orchard station for more shopping and food. Check in at 2pm, check out 12pm. 4 out of 5.

Good Hotel in a very strategic location, close to Marina Bay and Orchard Road. The room (I was in the executive) are good but not excellent. The bed was amazing, I had a great sleep. Very good value for money anyway, I will recommend for the travelers who doesn't need luxury, but a good place for sleeping.

The hotel is located near the main shopping centers of Singapore and the MRT is just outside. It is a bit disappointing that the use of internet is not free, especially when across the street at any coffee shop it is. The lobby is a bit old and not welcoming comparing with other 3 star hotels around. It looks that a lot of tourist groups from Philippines, Thailand and other Asian countries is using it rather then Europeans. In general, it looks a reasonable value for money

Bigger rooms are needed to acomodate three in a room, otherwise we found the hotel to be ok, more expensive than similar in Malaysia but comparable in Singapore. The location is handy to most areas, more so when the new MRT station at the end of Queen St opens in a few days time (500 metres).

I expect more bang for my buck, considering I paid $ 150 AUD for a delux executive room. Room wasnt big enough, noisy neighbours, too much difficulty in catchin a cab...

Rooms were nice and location was fantastic, right in the middle between Bugis and City Hall. Friendly staffs. However, wish that they have a lift to the car park. Overall stay is pleasant and nice.
