Staff were most helpful. I arrived with no tours/transport organized, they quoted me half price for HaLong Bay overnight cruise and my transfers back to the airport. Supplied a map with areas of interest to us around the old quarter and how to buy internal flights. The breakfast were a delight in the company of like minded European travelers sharing travel plans.

Stayed 10 days. Pros: LOCATION, Price, Breakfast (eggs, fruit, yogurt), Very friendly staff. Cons: Wi-fi worked intermittently (good for 3-5 days); one day, while taking a shower (soap on body, in hair) water was turned off without warning (45 min. off, 4 calls, walked to counter in towel, was shown to another room to finish my shower and midway the water in that room was shut off). The hotel knew we were in our room. Hopefully a one-time occurrence. Would I stay again? Yes, probably, with misgivings.
