A reasonable hotel in a good location although it was a bit overpriced.

The hotel is a characteristic Italian grand hotel of the late 19th c with an extension from the thirties. All main rooms have great character, but it clearly is no longer the glamorous social meeting place it once was, and the breakfast room is now a mixture of a well-maintained shell and school dinners. Extremely well positioned, but some rooms immediately next to the main traffic boulevard of Ancona: close windows and shutters (and use the air conditioning)

If you need to be close to the ferry port this is an excellent choice. It is about a ten minute walk. The internet was not working but there was an internet cafe very close.
