Roma Hotel Prague

We found this hotel fabulous value for money, the staff were great, the room was massive and very comfortable, the location was superb - opposite Petrin hill and 10 minutes walk from Charles Bridge and because it's on the Casdtle side of the river it's away from all the noisy drunken revellery - perfect!! The breakfasts were good value too - can't understand why anyone could complain - you get what you pay for and this really was a great hotel overall

we checked in on Jan 2 at 4:15PM and the room around 5:30PM answerable Ed we had someone got into our room and stole all the valuables. We lost 2 lap tops, 2 iPods, canon camera, jewelry, wallet, Tumi briefcase, Gucci glasses and $2000 in cash. There was no sign on forced entry. The hotel cameras don't work. They have no idea who got into our room. Police report was written but I was told that nothing will happen. Hotel management did not compensate for any of the losses. It was very surprising that a 4 star hotel has such poor scurity and this act has to be done by hotel employee. I will never stay here again and discourage anyone to stay at thus hotel.

We checked in on Jan 2nd around 4 PM as a fmily of four and left the room around 5 PM and when we returned our room around 11:30 PM, our room was robbed. Someone got into our room without any break in and stole 2 PC, 2 iPod, wallet with credit cards and $2000 in cash, Tumi brief case, Gucci sun glasses and Canon camera. Total loss of about $10,000. The olnly valuables that were not stolen that we put in the safe in the room. police came around midnight and took report. Hotel management was cooperative but did not compensate for the trouble and stollen items.

OK - not what Americans consider a nice hotel, but it was clean. The breakfast was ok, yogurt, cold cuts, coffee... nothing special or particularly yummy. Probably wouldn't stay there again... but the location was very easy to get to Old Town and the Prague Castle. My younger daughter thought the staff reminded her of the Addams Family and she wouldn't go out the first night. She warmed up to Uncle Fester by the end....

Definitely the best hotel ever where i have been! Wonderful staff and very good service. And the breakfast buffet was excellent and FREE!! I can recommend this hotel to all if you are going to Prague. Sights are close by. And a tram stop right in front of the hotel! I Love this Hotel!

We had a few issues on arrival to our hotel. Firstly the bed broke and we were then moved to another room. The room was at the front of the building so you can hear the tram or outside noises night which took a bit of getting used to. We had a few problems with the wireless but they were fixed immediately and it was working without issue after. Hotel Roma is an excellent hotel with facilities you expect from a 5 star hotel. The location is 15 minutes walk from Old Square. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffett and could have better choices.

The staff and amenities could not have been better. The price for our week was excellent and represented value for money. The hotel is located to the main Lesser Town square and the karlov bridge and we were only ten minutes from the Old and New Towns.

Hotel was by far one of the best mid-range hotels I have been in. Breakfast buffet had a good variety and coffee was excellent. Room was pretty spacious too and customer service was excellent. The hotel was very conveniently located - while not totally central, it was right in front of a tram stop and was a few minutes walk to Petrin Hill/National Theatre among other attractions. Would definitely book there again!

Smart modern well run hotel. Good, efficient and friendly staff, well priced and conevenient. It's a 15 minute walk from Old Prague but closer to the Castle and there's a lovely park opposite. Quiet with more 'real Czech' cafes and bars close by. Loved it.

Great location away from old town but five minutes to Charles Bridge. Quiet and away from main tourist bustle. Easily accessible by tram from main station. Room was fine but not sound proof. You could hear all the plumbing: So every time someone else above or next to you used the bathroom you could hear it! Not ideal.

Centrally located, only a 10 minute walk to St George Bridge, but far enough away to be out of the hussle, close to public transport. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Would definitely use again.

We really liked the hotel. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant was too small and at breakfast was very busy, but food was ok. The location suited us, just out of the city and a 15 minute walk to main areas. Only down side was the cigarette smoke in the lounge and bar areas that was thick on some occasions. We would use the Roma again if we come back to Prague.
