Rodeway Inn Downtown San Francisco Guest Reviews
The Rodeway Inn is not trying to be a pretencious experience. The location is South of Market so very walkable to BART, Muni and F Tram to take you to many sites. The room was basic but clean and had a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge ( all new ). The heat/AC were fine as were water temps. The money saved helps pay for all your tourist attracttions. The hotel area is not scenic and there are homeless but security is good. The hotel staff was very accomodating and very nice. They had no problems with me leaving my car for some hours after checkout. The interstate entrance is a minute from the hotel. This is more of a hotel for adventurous singles or Adult couples.

The room is clean and large. It has a refrigerator and microwave. I could check in early (12pm). Next day, I got quick service for cleaning room. The bathroom has enough space and easy to use. Amenities are ok. Staff is helpful and gave me a map of San Francisco. A little far from union square area, but we can walk there and the hotel locates close to BART/Muni station.

My friend and I were in town for 2 Giants games. The area around the hotel is a bit shady, but no big deal for adult males. Union Square and Bart and Bus are all within walking distance. The room was clean, but noise was a problem in the morning. For the price tag of $120 for a room with two queen beds you aren't going to find any better unless you spend $180 +. So for the price it was fine.
