Riviera Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Guest Reviews
The Riviera has large and comfortable rooms at a great price, and easy self-parking and access to the hotel from the garage. It has, however, been left stranded by development down the southern end of the Strip and there are depressing vacant lots in both directions and across the road (apart from the equally left-behind Circus Circus Hotel). For people who don't mind a 15m walk before getting to the main area of the Strip, or who have a car, the Riviera is worth considering.

On Dec 21, I was recommended by the hotel to a presentation on Christmas Eve. I was told that the presentation is a promotion for a single woman. I was also told that I will have a free meal and free show after the presentation. Therefore I agreed and paid $20 for a deposit. As a result, I planed I will have the free meal and show on Christmas Eve. On Dec 24, I went to the presentation in the morning. However I was informed that I was not qualified for the promotion as it is for an Amercian single woman. My question for the hotal is why they send me to a presentation which I am not qualified. Especially they knew my information (a Canadian single woman). I was not empressed by the encounter as it wasted my morning time on the Christmas Eve and massed up my plan for the Christmas Eve. My recommendation for the hotel is that they should be careful for such issues as it could ruin their guesses' holiday plan.

the hotel room was great, clean, very nice. the staff was okay, took a long time to check in cause the line at the reservation desk was to the door. minus the location and wait it was a great stay.
