Location
Located in Lido, the island of Venice, Hotel Rivamare commands a privileged location on Lungomare Marconi, in front of the sea and the beautiful private beach. The property is just 50 meters away from Hotel Excelsior a magnificent example of liberty architecture and 200 meters from Palazzo del Cinema, a venue for important events and numerous congresses.

The 28 rooms at Hotel Rivamare exude the same friendly and intimate atmosphere present throughout the hotel. All the rooms are equipped with several in room amenities and some of the rooms also have small terraces, which offer beautiful views of the sea.

Rivamare Hotel Venice Guest Reviews
We have stayed here a total of six weeks since Easter 2009 - this speaks volumes for one of the very best holiday hotels we have experienced. The hotel is family-owned and run by the nicest of people. At the time of the plane groundings, they were exceptionally good to us. Friendliness, cleanliness and a first class cold buffet breakfast stand out. The hotel is situated on the Venice Lido, is less busy and more "local" than the "mainland", like living among real Italians. St Mark's (Venice's hub) is about 15 minutes away by boat. Also, immediately opposite the hotel is the beach which has the usual facilities and is a great attraction to Italian and tourists generally. We have no hesitation in recommending this excellent hotel for both short breaks and longer holidays.

a friendly hotel, we had 'standard rooms' which where of a decent size, clean and good value. 1 minute walk from bus stop to the centre and across the road from the beach, Exellent for families

I found this hotel excellent and in nice location near beach and overlooking Adriatic. It is family run and very friendly and they were most helpful. The breakfast is very good and offers lots of choice.The bedrooms were comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was very smart, obviously recently updated. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.
