Although the hotel is bit old, but still maintaining the luxurious quality and high quality, in terms of neat rooms and excellent entertainment facilities.

The room price is too expensive and does not include breakfast. Internet very expensive price compared to the price and the telecom company. Taxi prices from the hotel to any place in Doha are very expensive in comparison with the fare from anywhere in the hotel example, can reach the hotel from the market by 15 QR and go to market from the hotel by 80 QR!!

This hotel is elegant in the extreme. If all you want to do is be pampered, it is ideal. However, it is a long way from the city centre and the airport. I also suggest not to go in summer - it is extremely hot! However the staff are very attentive and helpful and the rooms and other facilities are very luxurious.

The Ritz-Carlton at Doha is a great looking hotel with very pleasant staff who are always smiling and greeting you. In fact the staff can get rather annoying when everyone greets you and asks how you are! Ten greetings in five seconds is a bit much. The word pretentious comes to mind, although they are trying hard. The location is a problem as well unless you wish to play golf. It is right next to the world renowned Doha Golf Club, but way out of the city. If all you want to do is laze by the pool and be pampered, it is an ideal location, but you have to drive to see any of the sights of Qatar. The rooms are large and well laid out with comfortable furnishings and an ample supply of all the necessities for a relaxing holiday. To sum up, the Ritz-Carlton is a very good, extremely comfortable five star hotel with very friendly staff, who try hard to be helpful (but don't always succeed), but the location is a problem for anyone wanting to explore the city.

This hotel is well located the service is excellent,the restaurants are very good.The ''default'' I recognize is that while this hotel is by the sea,it has no beach for swiming.I have been told that it will be ready and accessible to public very soon.'
