Little gem of a riad, a surprising, tranquil haven hidden away on the back streets of the souk. Extremely friendly staff -- Mohammed couldn't do enough to help us. Rooms pretty tiny, but innovative use of space - beautifully designed, and lovingly presented with dried fruit and rose petals on the pillows. Fantastic value for money, even if the beer was on the pricey side. Only downside -- not the most inspiring part of the souk -- a long way to walk to get to restaurants, and a good twenty minutes to the Jamaa al Fna. Just a few minutes away from Bab Aylen and a good source of taxis though. Really highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riad Shaden and would recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure and the staff were really friendly and very helpful in making sure we had a good stay - breakfast was great every morning and the evening meals served were also very good . The Riad is situated down a series of alleys which was not exactly what we were expecting, however once we found our bearings it gave us a great opportunity to explore the Medina as it is a short walk from the main square and in the other direction a taxi rank to take you across town. We would definitely stay again if we return to Marrakech.

What a wonderful Oasis of calm and beauty. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the refreshing cool sweet orange juice was a life saver. Abdul was always attentive and excellent. Rose petals on your bed just showed that little bit more attention to detail, perfect.

Marrakech can be overwhelming in its madness, but the instant we walked into Riad Saden, we discovered peace and warmth in this luxurious little haven.Samira and Abdul are true ambassadors of Morrocan culture, so eager to help and make us comfortable.Nothing is too much to ask. The Riad is beautifully decorated with exquisite finishes, and is spotless! What makes this Riad so special are all the little touches - rose petals on the beds, shiny brass taps, complimentary dried fruit, mint tea and biscuits, incense and beautiful smelling bath products. Highly highly recommended. We will definitely return!
