Elegant but poorly managed riad. Very poor breakfast with just rolls and coffee (no fruit, eggs, etc). Taxi can get to only within 200 meters of riad. Very discouraging surroundings (narrow unclean alleys). Asked for an airconditioned car with an English speaking driver and paid a premiium for this. But, the driver spoke no English and the air conditioning did not work. Still paid contracted price. Tea was charged at $3 a cup; somehat high for this quality of hotel.

I can really recommend Riad Sara Hotel Fez. We stayed for three night here with our family of five. The hotel is very authentic with large rooms and huge bathrooms (but rather basic). We had only breakfast at the Riad, which was OK. I can't judge the restaurant. The location at the entrance of the medina is ideal to discover Fez. .

Nice and well restored building, but don´t expect a 4 star deluxe room. Beautiful roof terasse, but not easy to find. Lack of privacy due to all rooms having windows to the inside garden.

Riad Sara is a very nice place to stay that allows to reach the most important attractions in few minutes. It is comfortable and clean. Booking with this website is cheaper than booking directly with the riad.
