This hotel was what we expected , quite basic but fantastically located. Do not have breakfast at the hotel as the rolls and pastries are stale and they only use UHT milk and were shocked when we asked for fresh milk. The access to the shower is so small that i defy anyone over 100kg to fit in thru the door to the shower. We had a good time but we did not expect to much from the hotel.

I think Hotel Morpheus is a great place and the price is very reasonable. It is walking distance from Termini Station, the Collesium, Forum, Piazza Venezia. It is clean, the staff is very helpful and speaks English and they have very good cheap wifi which is hard to find in Rome. I stayed in two different rooms, both with private bath and windows and both were quite pleasant. The rooms are larger than average for this city. I can't comment on the breakfast because I didn't take it. There are cafes everywhere and a small grocery store a block away and a large grocery about three blocks away. I have seen complaints about noise at night but Rome is very noisy everywhere and this is near some busy streets. I will definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect for me; close to Via Nacianal and from there all the walking sites in Rome. The central location allowed me to drop back for an early afternoon nap in between long walks to the Spanish Steps or the Colloseum or the dozens of other key sites. It is off the main street so it's quiet. It is quaint, simple, comfortable, has a good free breakfast, and it was extremely reasonably priced. I just needed a bed and a bathroom for a reasonable price and this was perfect.

Great location, lift, internet, fridge, all ones needs when going back at the end of a busy day touring. All staff helpful. Water, coke,internet all reasonably priced. Definately would stay here again at the right price.
