We really enjoyed our short stay of 3 nights and days here. An excellent choice close (10 mins)to the excitement yet just distant enough to enjoy less crowded bars and restaurants in which to rest the weary bones when the day's sightseeing is over. The hotel, once a 15th century wealthy merchant's house is fantastic with views over a canal and piazza from the main reception and longe area. Rooms are clean and modern and even though in the heart of the island, are quiet at night (or with the window open you can experience the bustle below).

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable and in a great location. There was a mini bar but no prices available and limited staff about in the afternoon and evening. Breakfast was limited to cereal and bread. Overall a pleasant stay if you don't want to much service.

Good location-part of a 15th Century Palace,only a few minutes stroll from St Marks Square.Double room was reasonable and cleaned daily(though tv only had Italian channels)with new ensuite bathroom(though bath very small).Reasonable breakfast delivered to room.Only two staff,but both very helpful.No facilities.Need a map on website,and stress that the Hotel entry is at the side entrance, and not the now private front entrance.Would stay again.

The payment with credit card was not available and I had to pay cash which shouldn't we the case in Venice. Coffee for breakfast was good though.

Excellently located - 5 mins from Rialto and San Marco - and immaculately clean, especially the bathroom. Lots for restaurants, bars, even an Irish Pub within 2 mins walk - and the ones we went to were of decent quality, unlike some of those on the main tourist trap. Room and breakfast quite basic, but would definitely use again.
