Great experience, wonderful breakfast buffet-would definitely return to this hotel.

My husband and I have not been having much in the way of good luck when it came to reserving hotels, so our hopes weren't real high when we checked in here. HOWEVER! When we opened up the room door, we ooed and awed. Honestly! The room was wonderful! It smelled as clean as it looked! It truly was home away from home. LOVED the black out shades! We have already decided we would be staying here again!! The whole hotel was clean and inviting! The staff, from front desk, to the housekeeping to the dining room, all friendly! We only live 4 hours away, but...one doesn't have to go far to have an enjoyable week-end get away!

I was immediately impressed with this hotel based solely on the location. We travel to MN once a year & find better deals outside of the Metro area. This was our first time trying Plymouth, and it will be our destination of choice from now on. This hotel is surrounded by a very nice variety of places to eat & get coffee. There's a Caribou, a Starbuck's, a Red Robin, a Pizza Place, a Jimmy John's ...all within walking distance. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully kept, and I mean immaculate. I was instantly greeted w/a very friendly face upon entering a very well appointed lobby. I stayed on the fourth floor, and there was virtually no noise. The room was VERY quiet w/the exception of the air conditioner (and thunderstorms, but, hey). The kitchen was super clean, as was the bathroom. These rooms have a very smart layout and my kids were totally comfy on the queen sleeper sofa. There was a nice LG LCD TV that swiveled to accommodate both the sofa and the bed. The TV/Movie interface was a bit clunky, but we didn't use the TV that much. There is a saltwater pool right off of the fitness room. It's not the largest pool, and if a few more guests had been there it may have been a little crowded, but it was nice and well-kept just the same. There's a nice patio area right outside of (and accessible from) the pool area with lawn chairs and a coy pond. In the fitness room, I was thrilled to see free weights & benches! The treadmill, the elliptical and the recumbent were all top quality machines, too. Every morning there was the best complimentary breakfast I think I've had. Talk about variety! And I didn't feel like the variety sacrificed quality, either. When you have kids; especially pick kids, a great variety is such a relief. Milk, Juice, toast, bagels, french toast, waffles, yogurt, toppings galore for everything, sausage, eggs, hash browns, ham, egg & cheese muffins, donuts, cereal, fruit, coffee, etc. I know I'm missing something. There was only one thing I think could have made it a perfect stay, and I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. There's a pattern on the carpet that's lighter than the rest of the carpet and in places (mainly right off of the kitchen area), that lighter pattern was a bit darker than in other areas. I assume those were dirtier areas of carpet. That was really my only gripe. I'd give 4 1/2 stars if I could. We're fairly picky lodgers & this was a treat. We'll stay here as long as they'll have us. Now that I know what I'm getting, the deal we got seems all that much better.
