The reason for not giving 5 on the other 3 are just reasons for because the hotel was just a little farther than the places we wanted to go to. But it was in a great spot! Nice pool and hot tub! Also a great view! Also they have complementary breakfast and a dinner thing.

Location was outstanding, room amenities were fabulous, room was spacious and clean. Shower included a Speakman shower head which was a nice surprise! Having a full kitchen sure came in handy. Only 1 downside, no movie rentals available, they did not have a movie rental system in place? They did have free WiFi and a great managers special 5-7:30pm Mon-Thur, and a great breakfast spread each day! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

I don't usually write reviews of hotels after traveling but we were very happy with our recent stay at the Residence Inn in downtown Chicago. The hotel room was very spacious and modern, the bed was comfortable, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location downtown was great for walking to the miracle mile and many local attractions such as the river walk, UNO's Pizzeria and Billy Goats Tavern. The hot breakfast every morning was a good deal considering what eating breakfast out might cost you and being a fan of waffles makes it even a little better. There is a parking garage attached and parking rates are comparable to downtown parking in Chicago. I would recommend this hotel for cost, comfort, location and service.

Our stay at the Residence Inn was most pleasant. The room was large enough for our needs as my wife and I had our two grandchildren with us. Everyone loved the breadfast. The stall was easy to deal with. This hotel was the best we have ever stayed in Chicago and was close to all the tourist sites we wanted to visit. Our two daughters who live in Chicago were also very impressed.
