Residence Inn By Marriott Minneapolis Downtown City Center Guest Reviews
Hotel is in downtown Minneapolis. They have a parking arrangement but keep the same a secret until after you check in. There is no place to park while you go to check in so arrival is very frustrating as I had to double park and wait for clerk to check me in before he would tell me where I could park my car. If it had not been late at night, I would have sought another hotel. Staff is terrible and argumentative. Stay somewhere else.

This our forth year at Christmas time, excellent for parking, shopping and fellowship close by. Room set-up lot of space.

I liked the room a lot - even though the room I was staying in had only 2 tiny windows! The breakfast was the Marriott residence style - good! However.. The wifi with 31kbps was so slow that my notebook crashed twice on me. Was on the line with a remote technician for about an hour and the speed did 'improve' to 62kbps (felt like 15 years ago). The connection to the hotspot was good and the hotel lobby showed the same speed. Tried the wired connection as well but that didn't work at all. I turned off the noisy AC over night - and instead I got a high pitched noise on and off the whole night. Needless to say that I didn't sleep much that night. First night there was not shampoo.
