Location was ideal for city centre. Staff were okay. Parking was advertised-you paid £2 per session out in the street for it! Three sessions per day! Some nice artistic touches. Our room was up 60 steps. Thankfully we only had hand luggage. Room had an advanced "shabby chic" look- cobwebs, broken tiles, layers of dust, stair carpet ripped in many places, handles missing on furniture, wallpaper hanging off wall. If Rennie Mackintosh ever visited this place, then he walked out again! The only artistic thing about it was that I could draw in the dust under the bed!!

Very comfortable and reasonably priced. The evening receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

This is a delightful little hotel, more in line with a B&B than an actual hotel. I found the staff very friendly and the accomodation appropriate for a very reasonable price.
