Excellent and very friendly helpful staff. Amenities good and food was good at a an average to higher category pricing. The room was comfortable and the upgrade on our return to 2 queen beds made a very relaxing and comfortable return. Perhaps there could be a different air conditioning system in the foyer area which adjoins the dining area - as due to the excessive heat outside and the door opening and closing all the time it got quite warm inside. Would definitely book here again - a very pleasant experience all round.

The four nights spent at the Rendezvous were good value for the price paid. The staff were wiling to help immediately with anything we asked for or if there was a problem as with a faulty hairdryer. We particularly enjoyed the Christmas lunch and could not fault it on taste or price. I would be happy to staynext time I visited Brisbane.

We had confirmed booking showing check in at 1.00 PM and requested early check in. Receptionist said she will let us in at noon. At 12.15 PM manager comes over tells me check in time is 2 PM, if you want to check in now we have to pay for extra day. We delibrated for long and he agreed to let us in at 1.20 PM. Guess what. At 1.30 PM we are in shower, with no clothes on, when room service barges in without knocking to door. We informed the manager he just shruged his shoulders. WOW.....that was Australia for us, our 1st stop in the country.

The room was comfortable and clean. But, I found it to be a bit too warm. We couldn't get the air conditioner under 23 degrees, which made it too hot to sleep.
