Location
Located in the heart of the cultural district, Rendezvous Hotel is a three-minute walk to Orchard Road. CHIJMES and Battle Box at Fort Canning Park are located within 500 metres from the hotel. City Hall, Singapore's national monument is also situated close by.

Great place to saty and right in the heart of Singapore. Walked almost everywhere, taxi is cheap, staff very freindly, corteous, and will definetly book there again in February.

$26 Sing dollars a day for slow internet connection is an absolute rip-off. The mattresses were really hard. The location is great, and everything else is good about this hotel!

We have visited Singapore many times and usually stay in Little India, but last week the prices were exorbitant there due to Deepavali so we decided to try a different location. The Rendezvous was a real find - it is close to both Bras Basah MRT station and the Dhoby Ghaut interchange, and walking distance from many attractions. It is also a one minute walk from a clean, cheap 24-hour Kopitiam (eatery), and from a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (cafe) that has free wifi. Our only complaint about the Rendezvous is that the charge for wifi access (if you wanted it in your room) was $27 a day, which is ridiculous. Lucky Singapore has some other places you can find wifi ;-)

Value was great. Access to new MRT Cicle line was great. Hospitality was excellent. Some renovations going on, so some issues with taxis finding the correct entrance. Negative: standard problem in singapore, internet charges are absurd.
