Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa Guest Reviews
What best describes the hotel and its location gives a feeling of 'Entrapment' - isolated, lack of local cultural experiences, menu prices do not include service fees and taxes, shuttle service to city is via bus with prices are simply a rip off, complications faced in relation to shuttle service to turtle village which is within the compound. Best to walk 800m and eat at one of the shacks good food, local fresh fare and fairly priced. Except for the natural amenity the beach and sea, the hotel is overpriced for its location. Good place if all you want to do is stay in and have no issues paying USD prices in an Asian country. Also at those prices ($230 per night )would have been better holidaying in Far North Queensland. It would be good if management invested in English classes for staff.
