Renaissance Montura Hotel Los Angeles Airport Guest Reviews
The decor was teriffic and the staff very fast, personable, and professional. I was here with my wife for four nights. I looked forward to getting back to this hotel every evening.

I have checked out many ratings for this hotel and saw some really good reviews and decided to book this hotel. The first day I was there following things happened: 1) Bed sheet had big black spot on the side. Called the housekeeping and changed the sheet. I asked her to change the entire bed, but she got a little agitated and said rest of it is clean and they wash it in a washer. 2) Service directory was "conveniently missing" which listed all the prices. From 1 dollar phone call plus per minute charges to usage of internet starting from 13 bucks a day to 25 bucks a day for parking (which by the way is free for 7 days for people using "airport parking" and if they stay one night). In fact I myself went to http://www.cheapairportparking.org/lax and booked the parking, but apparently they were not happy that I was living in the hotel for 7 days and at the same time bought the airport parking to save myself some money...they unwillingly accepted this anyway). 3) The entire room was REALLY dirty. Had a thick, really thick grime under the TV and dressing table's drawer was broken, and dressing table itself had a lot of dust on it. Not to mention a really old piece of potato chip on the floor and a big red spot (perhaps hot sauce etc.) 4) Towels were dirty had spot on them and one of them had a black spot on it. 5) Went to sauna and the cleaning lady just walked in without giving heads up. I mentioned this to front desk and asked to talk to the manager and ended up sending the "manager" to the room. Which after talking to the guy found out it was a security guard and not the manager. I asked them that I want to change the room, she said there's another one on 3rd floor. I went and checked and it wasn't better then what I had currently. I told them that I want some other room, they mentioned I can take another room on 6th floor, but I'll have to pay $20 extra for each day. I got really upset and told them I am not going to pay extra penny. Then she said, she will give me free breakfast if I stay at the same filthy room. Again I got upset and finally manager called and gave me a different room on upper floor, which was much better, and I was happy about this part the new room was okay. Frankly, if someone asks me if it is worth to pay 250 dollar a night for the new room they gave me I'd say definitively NOT. It wasn't something spectacular and I'd pay maximum of 100 dollars a night. When I checked in I mentioned the airport parking that I booked, but the front-desk lady just said to keep the reservation form of the parking and keep the very first ticket that I pulled from the parking machine that I pulled to get into the parking lot. And everything will be taken care of, when I am checking out. Well after the first day incidents. I made sure to talk to front desk again and also the valet people and again they said it will be taken care on the last day I check out. On the day before when I was going to check out, lone be hold, they sent me a bill for 25 dollar of parking per day for 8 days that I stayed there. Again, I kind of had a feeling they will do that and went to valet and talked about the airport parking, he mentioned they usually don't let people staying in the hotel book an airport parking, but in my case they'll make an exception. Again if you do airport parking it costs about 10 bucks a day. Which is still a lot considering most of them charge 6 or 7 bucks. But if you stay in the hotel and are giving them 100s of dollars you'll have to pay 25 bucks a day for parking. That's just stupid in my opinion. All in all, I would NOT recommend this over-priced hotel.

Just 5 minutes from the airport terminals and is the most quiet hotel you'll ever find! Very, very comfortable. Restaurant is good but very expensive.
