The hotel is under renovation and the floor where I stayed was not renovated yet, however I would say "a good hotel, in a very good location"

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in April 2007. The hotel is perfectly located for touring and walking around Vancouver. What a fantastic city, too. I'm so glad I went, and will stay at the same hotel again if I should ever go back--which I hope I do!!

I had a great stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Vancouver. The check-in was incredibly fast and our room was perfect. The beds and pillows were most comfortable. We were only a couple of minutes walk to Robson Street, the trendy area for shopping in Vancouver.

Staff very efficient, welcoming and keen to be of assistance. Ideal location overlooking harbour area and close to waterside walks and downtown. Buses one block away. Taxis readily available. Canada Place and Cruise Terminal are close by and hotel is ideally suited for accommodation before or after cruise. Highly recommended.
