Renaissance Hotel Downtown Toronto Guest Reviews
Within two blocks of Gretzky's, Second City, and the CN Tower. The Staff was helpful and professional. We will return.

Rooms are situated around the sports dome, so it was a bit of a hike to my room....entailed a long walk past a lounge bar which was closed for the season. Made me a little sad and lonely! But I did appreciate the quiet, spacious room. Friendly staff. Great housekeeping. Business centre open 24 hours, high speed internet in room. Super location! A 10 min brisk walk to Union Station and the subway lines, a few minutes more to Hummingbird Theatre, 20 minutes to the Eaton Centre, 15 minutes to the opera's new home, the Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts... You get the picture. Drivers can pick up the Gardiner Expressway in minutes, which connects to the other major highways. Easy parking once you know where. Self-park and save some money. Would stay there again.

The staff and the standard of our room was very good. However, it is important to note that the hotel is right beside the main railway into Toronto. As we were attending a conference and sleep was of utmost importance we asked to move to the back of the hotel. This request was immediately granted though it meant that our room was an integral part of the football stadium, a very bizarre feeling! The hotel was very convenient for the conference centre. The food was good as well.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Toronto, staff were courteous and friendly, walking distance to various districts ie: fashion, theatre, shopping, markets, restaurants. Great view of the field in the Skydome from the lounge on the main floor, perfect place to watch a sporting event. Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again!
