A wonderful hotel located in a nice area and close to the centre. Busses just around the corner. 10 - 15 minutes walk to the main shopping district. Hotel rooms are very nice, big and clean. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very nice and helpful. This was our 3rd stay, and we shall be back in a couple of months :-)

right on the river with charming view over the lake luckily it was not too hot as it had no air cond but did have large windows to open..breakfast was great..beds very comfy the room was massive by european standards..we used it as a stop to get a cruise ship from kiel so would reccommend as it was very central one of the main streets located just behing the hotel.so easy to eat out at night would use again

Very friendly staff. Good service. Heavy trafic in front of the hotel, but also a beautiful view over the Alster. Good breakfast. Near the town center. You can jog along the Alster or hire a boat. Nice restaurants by the sea in front of the hotel. The WLAN is too weak outside the reception. Good restaurant. Oldfashion Tv in room. No electronic wakening, oldfashion call from the rec.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. It really is excellent. Breakfast is just remarkable. Very nice staff and excellent location. We will definitely return a third time :-)

Lovely Hotel, very thoughtful to provide us with earplugs (being on a very busy main road) which we have found to be extremely useful on our travels around Europe. Busy, noisy road didn`t bother us. Overlooked der Alster very pretty. The room was 4 star would stay there again, most certainly.
