Regency Hotel London
4 out of 5

If you want to stay at a great location within the center of London and don’t mind a small room this is the place to be. Service was excellent and staff was eager to please. Within walking distance to Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert’s Museum. Great pubs and restaurants close to the hotel. If you enjoy Indian food, a visit to the nearby “Thali Restaurant” is a must. The only drawback is the size of the rooms. But who needs a big room when you’re in such a marvelous city. Highly recommended.

the receptionist was pleasant enough although no real effort was made to welcome my partner and I. The person in front of us was handed an electronic key , but we were not so fortunate, we got a room to the top floor which had a physical key... oh dear... it didn't look too promising.... and we were right... the room was not 4 star... the furniture was tired, the wallpaper old, the carpet had stains... as did the bathroom floor. Very let down by the whole experience. Wont be visiting again...

Excellent hotel for the price in a lovely area. Close to the Underground, which incorporates three handy lines (one straight to Heathrow without changing!). Staff very pleasant and bonus! - it has a lift! Kensington Palace about 5 mins walk, picture theatres at Chelsea also around the corner and an easy underground ride to the Theatre District. Harrods also within walking distance. A great base to visit London and strongly recommend!
