Very dirty room. No hot water in shower or bath for most of the evening. Morning check out cleaning staff rude & invasive. Other staff try to be helpful, but not possible to help. Breakfast barely adequate. Something seemed to have died on the steps to the dining room?Overpriced for what it is. First thing we did was find another place for the rest of our stay. Worst hotel we stayed at in Taiwan. Would not recommend nor stay there again.

Wireless signal was very bad, I had to use 3G from my pre-paid mobile. Breakfast is very Chinese apart from the standard toast, which is fine for me but perhaps not for western guests. The price is cheap and location is good though, very near the MRT train station.

Hotel location is good, near subway station. Staff friendly, breakfast is good. room is clean. The so so side is room small, I think most the Asian country hotels are small rooms. beds small and not too comfortable, building little bit old., Well everything depends on the price, the price here compare others is OK, For the value and location, I will recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 3 days for a short vacation with our daughter. It was good to have room for 3 people with 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. Hard to find sometimes. Location was close to MRT - very convenient. No Wifi in the room and the wired connection is on the ceiling - not convenient in this day and age of iPad's. Breakfast was ok - not fancy but satisfactory. I like my food hot - and eveything was luke warm. One more bad thing, which may be a Taipei thing not just this hotel is mosquitoes, as I had mosquitoes even at previous stays at higher class hotels in Taipei. My daughter had several nasty bites on her face on the last night of the stay. Poor kid - not a good way to end a vacation.

Beautiful rooms and decor in atrium with nice classical background music. NOTE:this is not beside the international airport, just a regional one. I learned this the hard way and almost missed a flight had it not been for the cab driver who took me to Taoyuan. The front desk verbally told me it was next to the right airport although they must have misunderstood my English. About 8 minute walk to closest MRT (zhongshan jr high school) including walk over across streets. They provide a ethernet cable for free in-room internet. Free Hot breakfast served upstairs was a large selection however the taste was a bit below average. Shower was tiny, i had to crouch, this was in a deluxe room suite.

Service The front desk personnel speaks good english and are very accomodating. They guided us with directions and are very friendly. We reserved for a superior room but since the hotel is fully booked when we arrived, they offered us a suite instead with no additional charge. Room The room is clean and spacious. We are very particular with the comfort room and they did not fail us. The comfort room is spacious and has a bathtub with hot and cold shower. General/Pricing It is very affordable and offers great service. The breakfast as well is very tasty. With variety of dishes per day. Location The hotel is near the MTR. It is very convenient. It is at the heart of the famous attractions and malls.

Counter staff was friendly. Good location for us as it was just a short stroll to the MRT station and airport bus stop. However, service was inconsistent - replenishment of room amenities of the 2 rooms we had was never the same.

Appearance is was bit dirty, but staff were friendly. Fair price for this hotel and close to an MRT station. (other reviews I read say it's a rip-off... but what do you expect for this price in the city???) I would stay here again - if I could not find a similar price hotel closer :)

Very mediocre hotel for the price range. Main problems are: 1. I reserve a "deluxe" room, but I ended up in a room situated in the middle of the building, window is facing the building interior. 2. No phone connection. The hotel in fact discouraged activating the phone, citing ridiculously high local and long-distance phone rate. This makes communication with front desk or service very difficult. 3. Mosquitos in the room often and they bite. Overall, not a awful hotel; but I probably won't go back again. 4. Breakfast is below average.

As mentioned by many, this hotel is located at a quite main street, very near the MRT station (although need to change train often to get to other parts of taipei), away from the noisy bustling city. rooms are clean and hotel staff very helpful and friendly. lots of small restaurants at he backstreet of the hotel and many convenient stores around. Came directly from airport taking evergreen bus costing TWD 140 each person. Breakfast is nice but the sitting capacity is only 20 - 25 person at most. The 3 person suite are made up of 1 king bed and one foldable bed at the living room with 2 TV. All in all, a great hotel at such a budget price.

The location is just a couple of minutes walk to MRT, away from the busy, crowded atmosphere of Ximending. We are a family, with four kids. Stayed at their Family Room with a Queen-sized bed and a Single Bed. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The room is kept cleaned by the house keeping staff, replaces toiletries and drinking water on daily basis....just like any 4-5 star service, but on a 3 star rating. Staff are helpful and courteous. I noticed that the locals are very friendly and hospitable to tourists, even if they have a hard time communicating. We love Taipei!
