Location
The Reef View is 2 km to the Hamilton Island Airport and has buses to and from the airport. The main beach on the island is located across from the hotel. Catseye Beach has sugar-soft sand and Hamilton Island Beach Sports rents snorkels, catamarans and paddle and surf boards.

Great holiday location, although the ideal surprised me as it is really one resort. Everyone can share pools and restaurants so it feels like one resort. Room was clean and spacious, although it is a massive hotel so is not quite as chilled as would have wanted for this type of getaway. Convenient hotel with great views and wander to beach sop all in all would go back, although might try the bungalows next time as they seemed in a world and space of their own

We stayed at the Reef View for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. We were happy overall, however we found the beds uncomfortable and we had our two year old son with us and the balcony doors easily opened for him (even when locked) and at 9 floors up, this was an issue. He could also open the front door, so we found we had to take precautions to block the doors. The rooms were a great size, though - large bathroom. The service from the staff was excellent though and the location exemplary!

The staff were friendly and made me feel most welcome. The Room was fantastic. I felt very safe there as I was travelling by my self. Great way to book rate was alot cheaper.

We stayed 5 nights at the Reef View in a spacious, clean room with the most beautiful views of the Whitsundays. Buffet breakfast was very good with a good choice of food. Lounge area had a good ambience with piano music in background. We had pre dinner drinks there every night. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. All staff were wonderful.

Great holiday has everything you need on site and is close to all that Hamilton Island has to offer - choice of breakfast venue was great idea
