The location was convenient but staff were not very helpful. I stayed there for 14 days but my bed sheets were never changed. Bathroom was pretty ordinary and breakfast was hopeless. Once I got used to finding my own way I was not bother that much about the hotel staff. Keeping a 500 Yuan deposit in Cash was bit of a silly Idea as we need that cash for spending and not to keep in the hotel deposit. During checkout reception staff waited until cleaning staff went into my room and confirmed everything was OK before releasing my deposit. Bit too much for me! However, I enjoyed the stay. Only two/three minutes from rear exit of the Forbidden City.

Walking distance to sub-way and to the busy Wangfujing Centre. Close proximity to Forbidden City, Art museum, and Jing Shan Garden. Also very close to the old Beijing University building . Staff are friendly. In my room the amenities were bad: TV antenna not connected, and the cable for internet broken. I think they should enforce the maintenance and inspection. Weird smell in the lift; the sink was cracked in my room. Room rate was great though.

This hotel can only be classified as 2-Star hotel. The bathroom is too narrow and the bedroom is small, there is no proper cabinet for clothes. The bedroom is deem which made difficulty in reading. The good thing is the staffs are very friendly, Front Office and Housekeeping. It is easy to take a bus to Wangfujing (Bus # 103) and Xidang (Bus # 109), where there are LRT Exchange available to go anywhere.

I love this place, close to everything, short walk to the royal garden and forbidden city. The staff at this hotel is top, specially the manager. The little thing that need to be improve - The carpet need a good clean up - The smelly sewer in the massage area need to be clear. - the bed is so hard. I will comeback for sure. Top place best value for $ and staff is so helpful.

The room which we were given was incredibly small and looked very tired and worn out. The heating was on extremely high and seemed to be broken. When we flicked the switch to 'cool', more hot air came out, when we flicked the switch to 'off' hot air still came out. We eventually left the window open all night when it was -7 or 8 celcius outside and that managed to bring the room down to a more comfortable level of heating. On the plus side, staff were very helpful and the room was fairly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.. Luckily, we were only at the hotel for one night, any longer would have been intolerable...
