I was looking for a cheap hotel for an overnight stay and Red Roof fit the bill. The room was comfortable and looked recently renovated, although the heater was not, but hey, it worked so no complaints! Definitely a "no frills" hotel--glad I brought my own hairdryer because there wasn't one in the room. The staff were efficient but could benefit from some customer service training. The hotel is in a convenient location right next door to some fast food restaurants and a short drive to some nicer, sit-down places. It's also offer quick access to the highway, without the noise. The room was fairly clean (except for the eyelash I found on a pillow), but I would recommend arriving before nightfall if you can since you will have to walk outside to get to your room. Definitely a creepy experience in the middle of winter with not much people around. For the price I paid though I didn't expect much and thought it was a good value overall. No continental breakfast but apparently they will give you a brown bag breakfast if you ask for it.

Staff is good,service is good,but the cleaning crew sucks,i used to own a cleaning company:and if those cleaners worked for me they will be fired in the spot!there was no pride in their work,,,the room carpet was fillty! floor corners were never cleaned! there was an inch of dust on top of furniture,garantie if health and safety inspection went there they will close this place down for dirtyness!

As a last minute getaway for one night, the red roof was perfect. the location was within 10 minutes of my home and even closer to my job, the price was VERY affordable, and the room was very clean. Overall, I was extremely happy with the room.
