basic hotel with clean accommodation, good for budget holiday

Hotel was in good location. Free shuttle from the airport was great except it was provided by tour company that will try to sell you on day tours. We took a tour and it was OK except the tour guides keep stopping at expensive and very pushy shops where there is too much pressure to buy. We later realised that while tour was OK price for us it was well overpriced for India.

If you are not a budget traveller, definitely do not consider this hotel. Very shabby and poorly maintained. Do not be fooled by the photo on line. The staff there actively asked for tips. We ask for airport pick up, which was quoted as included but then told that it applied to international only. We flew from Udaipur and therefore not applicable. I wonder if we say international, then they will say it only applies to domestic. We got pre-paid taxi from airport which charged us 200 INR but the hotel charged us 450 INR when we left for the airport. Even if you are a budget traveller, this hotel is not a choice.

For the price is was good value. Bathroom was not so good with newspaper on the windows. I think though that it had good points such as the pick up from the airport, room service and breakfast were all good. Comfortable bed.
