In need of major refurb I am afraid! You get what you pay for, thinking we were only staying one night I guessed we would be fine. Room old, bed ok, decor shabby, half rooms closed due to electric problems, we got one opposite cold drinks machine and it was very noisy, also noisy from guests in room back to back. Overall in my bottom 10 of hotels I have stayed in over the years I am afraid.

It was a disaster. On Sunday moring from midnight to 4:00 am a party was held in a nearby warehouse with noise so loud my room was reverberating. The decibel level was out of control. I called the front desk twice and the police twice to file a disturbing the peace claim. No action from either. I asked for a refund for Saturday night on the two rooms I had used, but, of course there was no compensation or apologies. We couldn't sleep a wink in rooms we rented for the night!

They let us wait for an hour at the Cruise Terminal. At last we took a taxi.

This is the worst hotel that I have stayed at. I wanted to save money and stay somewhere near the airport. This place had the value and the location. This hoel looks like it has been remodel but they did a poor job at it. I've never been to a hotel that has no carpet (I'm sure it's for easier cleanng for them). My room didn't have any soap or shampoo. They forgot to put that in my room. The staffs are very rude! They came banging on my door 5 times in one hour. I told them that I didn't want to be bother because I was tired from my cruise. (that didn't matter), I was woken up by a loud bang at the door, I ignored it the first 2x, they banged even harder the 3rd and 4th time. The 5th time, they woke me up to tell me th water was back on. (WHen was it even off????)

Hotel was a value since it included transportation to the cruise ship but the problem was we waited over an hour to get our shuttle, many many people use the shuttle and we were at the end of the line. Room was not bad except the gap under the door was about and inch and a half and the door had to be pryed open to get in and out. Resturant was OK, service was fine.

I was a little wary after reading other reviews but decided to book anyways due to its proximity to the airport and cruiseport and its complimentary shuttle to both. We arrived early in the morning after a red-eye flight from LAX. We expected to leave our bags and come back for the 3pm check in time. However, the staff was Amazingly helpful and had a room ready for us within an hour for no extra charge. The room was no frills but very clean and comfortable. If we cruise out of Ft. lauderdale again I will definitely stay with Red Carpet Inn.

the hotel itself is like a run down motel 6 with a pool. the rooms have no carpet just tile. You have to go to the restraunt to get coffe. when you call the front desk to complain that people are making a lot of noise at 2 in the morning they say when we get time we will go see what we can do. It never happens. they just ignore you.

It is an ok place to stay if you are looking for something that isn't a lot of money and want to be close to the airport.

Hotel is located close to Airport and 10 minutes away from Beaches. Rooms are good, but always have that smell that want go away. Likely we didn't stay long in the rooms. If you get rooms facing pool, it's better. If you only need hotel room to pass your night, that is good place. We rented two adjoin room, that have mutual door inside. Very convinient when you need to check on your children during the night.

The driver was friendly and courteous as he picked us up at the airport. The night desk clerk signed us in with speed and courtesy. Our room was ready, clean and cool. We were ready for food when we entered the hotel's restaurant. Lots of choices and good portions. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

We were traveling with a 1 year-old and needed a place with a fridge. This place has a fridge and microwave, but no cribs for babies! When we checked in, the bathroom was unclean, with dried human fluids on the toilet; luckily I brought disinfecting wipes. The back of motel has an area for truck parking which reeks of urine/rot; we can hear the trucks at all hours of the day and night. We've been here 3 nights now and housekeeping is non-existent; they did not clean our room even though we were out before 11 a.m., and when we called the front desk to ask for more towels, there was no answer. The free internet does not work and bed is really uncomfortable. I'm looking for a new hotel right now.

It was one night stay before our cruise. Hotel provides free shuttle to airport and crise port. The room is okay with very basic amenities, staff are nice. It's not near any mall or restaurants, the dinner choice is pretty much in the hotel or the one next to it. It's okay for one night stay, wouldn't recommend it for longer stay.

It is out far away from anything have to use the bus or taxi to go anywhere to eat unless you eat at there place which is fairly expensive. The shuttle to/from the airport and port is nice other than if you have an early flight then your'e on your own. They were very friendly and helpful but the place is soo far from anything.

I arrived at FLL, and used the hotel guide in the arrivals to contact the hotel to book my pick up. Pick up was quickly organised, and check in was efficient. The hotel is in the style of many in Florida, a square type centered on the pool, with spaceous rooms. Decor was a little dated, and some untidy plastering work made some parts of the room look uninviting. Of course, being in FLL meant that little time would be spent looking at the walls in the hotel. Staff were at all times very curteous, efficient and willing to help, and this combined with the reasonable price made my stay a very enjoyable one

We stayed there the night before a cruise. The outside of the hotel looked a little run down, but our room was one of the remodeled rooms. The room was clean. If you are staying there one night, this is the place to go. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but the hotel provided free shuttling from the airport and to the cruise. If you are taking a cruise, go and wait for the shuttle 30 min. before your departure since it tends to fill up quickly (esp. around the time you are to check out).
